help, fuel leak.

ive had my truck parked for a couple days, and today I had to go jumpstart a buddies car. when I got to his car I noticed a leak under my truck. smelt it and it was fuel. looked around for the leak couldnt really find a source. could see it pooled up in the engine valley.perhaps the fuel bowl cap thing came a bit loose?

Have you swapped out the drain valve o-rings yet?

It could be either the filter cap's o-ring, or the drain valve o-rings, which is most likely. The new ULSD that's hitting the pumps all over seems to be causing the older o-rings to loose some of their swelling and is beginning to cause some leaks.

Here's the linnk to Pure Diesel Power for a $12 kit to fix the drain valve issue (if that's where it's coming from).
