When I first start the truck, and then back out of a parking space, I go to put it in drive and it take a few seconds for it to actually go into drive. It only does this when its sat for a few hours in -10 or so temps. After the first time I cannot get it to repeat this problem unless it has sat for a few hours. I have a heating pad on the tranny, to assist when its really cold. It doesnt do this after its been plugged in. It also doesnt do this at any time when going in reverse.
It shifts fine, fluid is full, fluid doesnt smell burnt, looks like it was just poured straight out of the bottle.
Ive tried the thing I read about, where you put it in 1st, and then drive to see if the the engine boggs down when you let off of the gas. Like an engine brake. It bogs down.
Any ideas?
How serious of a prob is this.. its not that anonying, can I just let it ride?
