I have a 2001 F-250 with 102,000 mi. Overnight it acts like it is draining fuel out of the system because upon start -up it misses (no smoke). It can idle for a few minutes adn clear up or you can press the accelerator to the floor and it will clean-up right away. It doesn't always do it. After first start-up, it starts great and runs great all day. Is there a check-valve anywhere in the system that holds fuel in the filter? It used to take a few days for it to act like this, now it happens overnite.
You will want to post your question in the tech forums since this one is used for introductions. Click on the Forums tab at the upper left and look over the choices. Several should stand out to you. Also stop by the California chapters, they are towards the end of the forums listing.
