no spark

i have a 1986 F150 I6/300 w/C6 tranny.
not sure type of ignition, has no points, no ignition module.
1 wire to coil is hot but no spark from coil to dist cap.

help please and thanks

their is an ignition module on the drivers side fender its about 6" by 6" their knowen to fail.

found distributor mounted module, but cant see how to remove it.
see 2 mounting holes but cant see into holes, phillips dont work, flat dont work and hole to small 1/4" nut driver

Both NAPA and Autozone should carry a "TFI Module Wrench."
