Roaring Air-Type Noise

Well i recently posted on here regarding a no-crank condition that i finally fixed today.After checking fuel pump- fuel filter and replacing temp-sensor..still would not crank.Replaced plugs and now runs perfect....Now another problem has arisen that was never happning before...A loud roaring air-type noise starts about 5 seconds after motor is started.Sounds like its coming from the air-duct going into intake manifold area.Every now and then as soon as it starts...a pop is heard..and this roaring starts soon afterward...Thanks for any ideas...Dave...by the way this is a 1997 F-150 4.2 V-6.

Roaring Air-Type Noise

Oh yeah...noise will come and go..as in gets louder and then it will fade out and barely can hear it..then will come back.

Roaring Air-Type Noise

Could be the fan clutch.Ever since mine was replaced it has made this noise.Sounds like a plane taking off.
