i just picked up a new rearend that has disks thinking it will be much better .
(i have drum now) but after talking to some guys they say the disks are only better to do brake jobs on.
some say they need to clean them more. whats with this?
are disks really any better then drums? i have had 2 drum pads come apart on me in the last year and with 315s it dont seem to stop as nice as i like
Discs are better than drums, they stop better and are overall superior. They are a little more expensive, which is why they were optional in early models. They are now standard, and have been for several years.
