I use a super sucker.. Like a giant wet-dry vac on steroids.

Pull down 20" of vacuum and open a valve. You can suck peanut butter.. just pressurize the tank to reverse flow.

Gotta have a pressure tank to do this.

My totes have a forklift metal pallet under them. I just use a hose and fill from the top. Get home and unload with a forklift. Any plumbing you can think of will work.

I pretty much have the same set up except I use 55gal plastic drums to pump into.( easier to take in and out of the truck by myself) I use a 2" gas pump bushed down to 1" (easier to handle the hose) I use have a threaded on both ends 2 1/2' section of steel pipe on both suction and return ends (to hold the hose in the barrels while pumping) with a cap to thread on when done pumping (to keep any oil in the hose from dripping out when done) And I carry plenty of old towels to wipe off the oil on the hose's. I try to be as neat as possible but you almost always have some drips of oil on the tailgate and in the bed around the tank.
