Thanks sofdchief! I will see whats all involved in the plow prep package. With that package the truck may bit a bit higher in the front. Anybody know? Thanks alot.....Ed
I went with Nitto Terra Grapplers 35 X 12.5 and don't really get much road noise out of them. I don't do much offroading but they are nice if I must get offroad.
You are in Chicago so you'll get the snow too.
I put BFG AT's on mine.
Nice ride, aggressive tread and not any more noise than stock shoes.
They performed well in the snow this past winter, huge difference from stock.
Just got back from a ski trip in NM. I had replaced the stockers with 315/70-17 BFGs prior to the trip. Very smooth ride and absolutely no rub. The truck is a 2005 fx4 and the wheels are stock. This set of tires is my fifth set on different vehicles--I highly recomend them for Super Duty
If I read the post right, I can put 305/70R/17 on the stock rims of a 06 F250 FX4 PSD and not have any rubbing. Is that correct? I was told that the largest I could go was a 285.
Thank all of you! Guess I'm going to start shopping for them 35's.
