I don't know what to expect on gas milage but I know it is bad. I read the other threads and see all kinds of reports. I just bought this thing and got it running. Since I changed the gasket, I do notice more power.

This may or may not help, but my 1994 explorer used to do the same thing until i cleaned the mass airflow sensor. After that i no longer had the rough starts until the vehicle warmed up.
