Smoke Question
I Am Still Somewhat New To Owning A Diesel And Was Wondering How Much Smoke Is Normal At Takeoff And While In Gear Waiting To Go At A Stop Light..........i Have A Very Small Amount Of Smoke At These Times....so Small You Can't See It In The Daylight Only Through Someone Headlights At Night......is This Normal????

I think you are gonna see smoke at night no matter what, Diesel doesnt burn completely clear and through headlights at night you are most likely gonna see something that appears to be smoke but is not visable during the day. Does it smoke at all when its good and warmed up during the day?

I think you are good, from my experiance the 7.3L doesnt burn very clean anyways so you can expect to see some type of smoke but only like at night. But if you are getting white smoke or lots of black smoke then you might want to first put a additive in to see if it helps then off to a diesel shop or Dealer if it persists. But what you are describing is normal especially for our engines.
