Yeah I got stuck on those tracks once while in my course. The instructor kept telling me to go, and I stopped right on the tracks lol. But in my defence there was someone crossing the sidewalk, and I thought I will let them cross and to hell with what the instructor said haha.
I was always afraid of them to, but I never had to stop which I thought was weird. The way Maximium does a right turn on 26th and iduwyld is stupid there is no need to do a S turn, it is tight but do able every time. because 26th has a left lane for left turns and going straight and a right lane for right turns. There are 3 lanes on idywyld there so there is no need to block 26th street traffic doing right turns, but they do it and you just see brakes lights come on.
The hardest turn though I think is idywld to 24th street right hand turn. My instructor was impressed with me though, I made her without curbing, had a toothpick width between my tires and curb though.
On the flip side though I almost took down the walk sign on Circle and Faithful doing a right turn. LOL funny story.
I can imagine its a good story! Speaking of tearing signs down, I took the ramp from circle onto warman road toward 51st, and some truck driver took down just about ever sign down there lol They ever replace those yet?!
No they were taken down in december, before you were driving! Just looked funny though, cause every sign on that turn was knocked over and you could see the tire tracks.
here they had to change a whole intersection around to try and eliminate the problems of sign/traffic light wipeouts. i think they made it more complicated though...lol. but i'm not in a big rig either
Oh I almost took down the walk light on Circle and Faithful. That was a fun turn. Long story short the only thing that saved me is that there was a snow bank around the pole the trailiors wheels just hobbled down towards the road.
