Ok, here's the deal. After getting my 89 bronco II running after two years, my brother immediately runs it intoo a tree. Now the passenger inner and outer fender are smashed. I've got the outer fender off, but can't figure out how to remove the inner fender. I have tried grinding, chiseling, and pounding it, but the welds won't budge. I've got an 89 ranger that I would like to take the front end off of and put it on the Bronco II.
Which "inner fender"? The one your outer bolts to, or the one IN the wheel well? One is removable, the other isn't quite removable, you'd have to straighten it and the radiator core support, or remove the core support and straighten the part that the outer fender bolts to, if I remember right. Not sure if the Ranger front end parts are the same and are interchangeable, either.
Wel, I tried one of those spot weld removers and broke both sides within fifteen minutes. Now, I am considering swapping out the body. Its pretty messed up anyway and I will at least be starting with a clean slate.
You may want to check around and see if anyone sells the parts you need, or remove the entire front clip including inner fender(s) from a junkyard, etc.
