Arrow Rad core support cracks

Three F-350 regular cab 4x4 PSD's all with ZF-5 speeds and 4.10 gearing.
One 94.5, one 95, one 96. Two of the three get a lot of off road mileage
with max loading. Found two with cracks in the front radiator core supports on both sides. Mig welded the cracks on one. Welded cracks and reinforced top with angle iron on worest of the two. Cracks all in the same area, orginating from the upper corner of the opening for the radiator advancing up the front side of the core support toward the top surface trying to crack all the way around the upper shaped bend in the core support. If you're twisting your truck off road with heavy loads I'd encourage you to take a look. Peal the rubber lip back between the grill and core support and look close from the top with a light.
Some of the cracking looked like a simple pencil line drawn on to the painted
sheet metal others showed more damage from seperation. I been told that this is common on these vehicles ???

Yup pretty common. My 95 had them never did do anythign with them. They were like that for 3 years then sold the truck. I thought it was due to the bottom of the support being rusted out and weak but talked to a few around here fromt he south and west had the same problems.
