CAse DX55 3point hitch
CAse DX55 3point hitch
I know its a long shot, but does anyone happen to have one that they can check out their 3 point hitch? I bought one used, and i believe i am missing all sorts of bushings on the three point hitch, but i really have no idea.
On the top link, where it attaches to the tractor body, the hole is significantly larger than the pin that goes through it. There is a lot of slop in it, and i didnt know if this was supposed to be this way , or if there is a bushing that goes there as well.

I have never owned a Case tractor but the three tractors I have owned all had bushings in both lower arms and bushings at both ends of the top link. However, this Case IH parts link https://webparts.pvassociates.net/cnh/main.php does not show any bushings on the DX55.

Even better. FTE comes through again. You should know that this thread has been more helpful than the dealer AND manufacturer combined.

My guess what you have is a category ll top link and your tractor is a category l, which has the smaller holes for the top link. You can pick up the bushings at almost any farm supply or even Ace Hardware or somewhere along that line to convert the cat ll to cat l. Are your bttom hitch arms cat l or cat ll. Iam not real familar with the CIH model numbers but I think you have one of the large compact tractors which are basically rebadged New Holland models. Don't know if you knew or not but all the CNH compact tractors are built by Shibauru of Japan.
