Welcome to FTE
Do a search on the Blend door or blend valve. There's been a lot of discussion on this problem with lots of solutions to it. I've never run across it myself, but a search should help.

Yep i had this exact same problem with my ranger awhile back,,found out it was a broken vaccuum line,,i kept putting it off because i had no idea where to find it and one day my alternator went out and while replacing it stumbled on a little broken red plastic line,when i reconnected it with a small piece of rubber line,it was like majic all my vents worked again for the first time in years,you wouldn't believe all the dust that blew out of them from sitting idle all that time.
