Angry Never fails...fuel prices!

Well, it took ALL of last Summer to get the gas and diesel prices down to an exceptable level....most of the nation had a mild Fall and early Winter and now we have had some cold weather for the last 3 or 4 weeks and now l@@k....diesel has went up here in central Kansas almost 30 cents a gallon because of this!

Do you suppose it will take ALL summer of 07 for it to go back down slowly or do you think it will fall 30 cents in 3 weeks time after everyone gets to about 70 degrees? BET NOT!!!!!!.....GRRRRRRRRR

I know! It just chaps my hide. Its not even Memorial Day yet and already we are up to $2.80 / gallon. Just a month ago we were in the $2.30 range and even lower, so we have gone up $.50 in just a month.

It's between 3.09 and 3.39 around here in Northern Cali... I was excited to pay 2.59 while in Las Cruces a few weeks ago..

We went from 2.39 to 2.79 in about a week. That coupled with lower mileage due ULSD chaps my hide as well. I'll just save the rest of my comments for the "club".

All I can say is welcome to the pain that Washingtonians have felt all along. When you guys where posting prices @ $2.30 or so we where still at $2.70 give a take a .10 either way. The lowest I saw for Diesel was $2.50. Right now the norm has been around $2.80. I filled up yesterday at $2.69 and as soon as I was done they hiked up to $2.80. Who knows what it will be here for the spring and summer. Going back to letting it never get below 1/2 tank. Got to love it!!!!

The theiving Oil Companies have us over a barrel. Here in Michigan, Diesel was $2.39 last week. This week it's $2.80. Thats what happens when Coporate America Owns this country.

I bought another tank of BioDiesel yesterday in San Jose, CA and paid about $3.40 / gal. I'd rather pay that to the Bio dealer and the US mfg of it than send the money overseas.

On a side note I saw a cool sticker on the diesel jetta filling up that said, "BIODIESEL - No War Required." I got a nice chuckle out of that.

Can't even get biodiesel here in New Mexico. I'd pay the $3.40 / gal to keep the money here too.

It boils down to the fact that the entire global oil infrastructure was built around about a 30 dollar barrel of oil. Once the price goes past that then the companies make a killing. Makes me wish I bought Mobil stock a few years ago...

Fuel prices never went down here. $2.90 for home heating and $3.29 for vehicle fuel. Not fair.

Seems like its stayed close to 2.50 - 2.60 here in western Iowa over the past couple months.

I know what ya mean MTDewX, I bought my diesel due to the cheaper fuel expenses and better fuel milage. Nowa days it's the complete opposite.. well nearly.
