I know the firing order is different between the mustang302 and the bronco. my question if I use the parts off of my old bronco 302 would the mustang 302 work?? I like the idea of the roller rocker less friction helps longevity and im sure there are other benifits or am I way off here.

Not sure what you mean by other parts fit, but I did the switch in my 82 Bronco and all the accesories, brackets, valve covers, manifolds all bolted right onto the HO motor. I used my old distributor but you have to change the gear on the end to a brass gear due to the different material the HO camshaft gear is made out of otherwise you will wipe out the cam gear. Truck ran GREAT, was a little slow out of the hole but was able to walk my buddys 351 HO Bronco anytime.

now my next ?? is will the speed density handle the stock roller cam that comes with the motor or would i need to change over to MAF right away. 500 - 600 is a bit much for mass air right after spending 1500 for a ho motor. thanks for all responses

Just installed a 302ho in my 90 Bronco and it runs great!!
I just purchased another 302ho for my wife's 95 Bronco. The only thing that you need to do is change the firing order, everything else is a bolt-up....
