OK the truck is a 2005 F250 v10 with 36,600 miles.
When I started the truck the display (info center?) was blank, it has done that before and I restarted the truck and and it works. So now I am on the highway and I see I am only doing 40 MPH so I gas it, as I start to pass things like they are standing still I notice the speedo is only showing 50 MPH (normal traffic flow is 70-80). I pull off and stop and the speedo stays at 30, It is now stuck at over 100 MPH. I have a service appointment tomorrow but I was wondering if anyone has had this issue? Or if there is an easy fix?
Yes, a lot of people have been having trouble with the instrument cluster on the 05 up trucks. Last I heard they were on backorder though so you might have a hard time getting one.
i just had mine in friday, cluster replaced, ready monday...so i think the cluster is not on b/o...however, mine is a king ranch so those might not be on b/o
The delaer said there is a TSB on the fuses that causes this issue?
I think it might be this one https://www.ford-trucks.com/tsb/full...p?tsb=05-11-14 and I had a bulb on the dash lights burn out. Truck sits overnight waiting for parts.
