How to improve cooling airflow?
I heard someone here say that the Aero's have poor airflow. I was thinking about putting in a tranny cooler and want to know if anyone has any suggestions for modding the grill/front end to improve airflow. Thanks!

Hmmm. I have too much airflow. There's cardboard in front of my radiator to try and warm it up faster. IMHO, you should be fine sticking it anywhere in front of the rad. Maybe you need a flush and/or coolant change if youare running warm?

I have a 4.0 '96 that came OEM with the AC condenser, and the little tranny cooler and power steering cooler in front of the coolant radiator. I have since installed an extra 8"x12" tranny cooler on the same surface as all the above . I've never noticed any problem with airflow/engine cooling, before or since, including pulling my camper over the Sierras in August at + 100 degrees. I think you'll be fine.

The common thing to do is to replace that stock loop of a transmission cooler inside the bumper with a plate type cooler. B&M makes a couple that should fit. Then reroute the power steering lines to use the stock transmission cooler and remove the stock power steering fluid cooler. This makes room in front of the radiator for the new plate cooler(s).
