idea explorer meets ranger!?!?!?!

ok i have a rolled 96 ford explorer xlt 4.0L 2wd with a good frame and drivetrain....... and i have a 93 single cab ranger body..... can i mate these 2..... let me know if this will work and how much work it will be....

it would be dang close. beings that the frames are the same (if not pretty dam close)

Putting them two together is basically what Ford did with the Sporttrac.

In pretty much every way, I believe so. The '95-up explorer had SLA up front, where the Ranger retained TIB/TTB through '97, so that will be different. It's an interesting idea, can you tell a little more about what you have in mind?
