????1992 f150 5.0 F/I,Is thair a way to change this to carb.If not what moter swap could I use to get away from Fuel Injection.Also this is a E4OD trans.

95 FI 5.0 to carburator
I picked up a cheap 95 (?) 5.0 (the plugs were 95 mustang only) and put it in my 4200 lb 59 Ford car with a weind manifold, 450 cfm holley 4bbl, and 80 granada electronic ignition, (because it wouldn't start cold on a 64 mustang points system), C4, 3.56 rear end. I had no computer or FI wire harness. My car was probably heavier than a 92 F150. I got 6 mpg city 8 mpg highway. ??? Cam chain was new, I installed it. Kind of weak in the city too, not much vacuum. I don't think the cam of the 95 mustang 5.0 is suitable for heavy vehicles
on caburators. The 292 v8 original with the 3 burned valves got 15 mpg, the 80 granada 4.2l I'm running now gets 13-15 mpg on points distributor.

Thanks for the info,but alas to late,seems some happy drinking motor head thought it would put my truck out of it misery.So he gave it a T-BONE.
Took it off the road forever.Bad news i was still in it,4 months in hospi.an now looking for another truck.Such is life....But thanks AGAIN FOR YOUR INPUT.
