I just put some 16" rims and 285/75R16's all around on my 93 bronco and I love it. The tires are Wild Country TXR's and measure 32.8" in dia. and are 11.2" wide. The only thing I had to do was remove the inside corners of the air dam under the front bumper. I do not have any suspension mods, but i'm planning on a 3" Rancho just for a little articulation. Just puttin out the word this tire and wheel combo is the best I have had.
The truck before had 15x8 wheels and 32X11.50R15 TXR's these are a true 32" tire with a width of 11.4" this combo rubbed a little on the driver side radius arm...0.2 diff makes it work. Constructive criticism works so try it out.
as soon as my new camra gets here pics will be posted. she handels about the same but is much smother at speed (65-80mph). I just got 16mpg on the first tank with the new tires (was 16.4 before). They look Killer. Cost was about $1100.00 total. It does take an extra couple of feet to stop the damn thing but that is how it goes with a bigger tire. I will be putting on the stainless brake lines ASAP for a little better feel ( it was bab before the new setup). The next mod is a modest lift 3-4 inches, I looked at the Rancho Kit that says 3 1/2 inches, but the service and quality of everything I have done at Les schwab makes me leen twards the Tuff County 4" performance suspention w/radius arms. I have been told that the Tuff Country Kit is only good for looks and pavement driving but i'm not a stump jumper so what the hell it looks good and a friend of mine has the same kit and it will jump a stump.
After the lift a 396 stroker with the lightning mass air!
