sorry you had to deal with that, glad you got it done, but that is one BIG reason i do all my own work
Maybe mine isnt a $1,000 paint job but it looks good enough for me. http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=3490683
I need a dash pad tho
Your work looks good. I like the way your dash looks (bare). I am leaving mine off. Just paint maybe a carpet cover on top of it. I Just saw a nice dash pad on ebay. the auction ends in about an hour right now it is @ about $20.00 it is in Oregon but shipping sounds reasonable. Here is the Link
Lo & Behold, I brought the truck home last night. It had set for so long, we had to drain the gas tank and carburetor and put new gas in it. Paint job looks good. I hope to get some pics tomorrow and post them up. I don't know that it was a 4 month job, but that's pretty much how it turned out.
Got new pictures in my gallery I took this afternoon. Still need to install new carpet (next Friday) and have the new seat recovered and headliner installed (very soon) I really love the color, can't wait for the whole truck to be that color. What do ya think?
Should look great when it's done!!!! When are you hoping to get the outside painted? Reason I ask, I'm doing my own and about 6 months behind schedule!!!!! Just get too busy on other projects I guess.....
Well, after I finish the interior I intend to turn my attention on the engine. I still have a 390 sitting on an engine stand in the garage. It needs to be completely gone thru. After that, I will paint the outside. Probably looking at two more years.
