I have a stock 5.0 truck motor with speed dens. The motor was bought seperate. My question is that it came with reddish-orange fuel injectors, I assume these are 24lb and that stock was 19lb, I pretty sure this is right. I'd like to keep the 24's but was wondering if anyone has any experience with what a good starting fuel pressure would be with the larger injectors on a near stock motor. It runs quite rich now. Thank you for any input.
not so long ago, i assumed that the 30# injectors i bought off ebay were 30# injectors. after trying several different maf meters, i finally decided to read the part number off the injector and figured out they were 19# (red in color) injectors ford used on trucks in mexico.
knowing what you have is the first step. cheers, garsten
I plan for more upgrades. For now though, wont lowering the pressure be equivalent to a lower injector number. I've always found adjustable fuel press regulators a great way to get the peak performance from modifications.

Yes, less pressure means less flow, but it isn't a linear relationship. Here's a calculator I found online that relates pressure to flow (stock fuel pressure is around 3 bar or 44-45 psi): http://www.witchhunter.com/injectorcalc1.php4
