Loud Noise When Braking

Hopefully someone can identify with this problem. Only sometimes when braking I get three or four loud thumps from the front end of the vehicle that can be heard as well as felt through the floor. I have gotten under the vehicle and can't find anything visibly wrong. Any ideas out there????

Loud Noise When Braking

You need to look for a worn bushing. Depending on the year there are several. Look at your track bar, radius arm and sway bars.

Loud Noise When Braking

I figured it out. Hard to believe because it sounded like it was coming from the front. Anyway, the problem was a broken brake spring in the rear driver side brake drum.
