Ben thinking of getting one but I still want to be able to remove the top for those hot summer nights (and days). Thanks.

I have the factory roll bar in my 89 XLT. picked it up at a salvage yard for $50.00. The top comes off just fine with this bar - plenty of access to all the screws, etc.

bolts to the floor right by the seatbelt mounts, and the rear kickers
bolt to the forward upper portion of the wheel wells. It's a
3 piece bar (hoop and 2 kickers). I'll have some pictures in a few
days when I get my digital camera.
Right now I'm looking around to see if I can find a front half kit to go with the factory bar. I think K-S had one, but I don't believe they're in business anymore.
