im kinda new to this old iron thing so bear with me please ..
1 i cant seem to find my drain or fill plugs in the rear end .. was told i have a 8.25 rear .. looks like a 9 inch but isnt ...
2. horn isnt their .. is it as easy as finding the wires in the column puting power to one .. like a swith so to speek ???
3. has anyone swaped to a throtel cable insted of the rods ?? how did u do it and what was used as the doner .. thanks to all .. it makes for a great site ..... russ
thanks for the reply .. so i have to remove the center section i assume to add also ..seems to me this is a flaw ..lol when refilling how much does it hold ??
the horn ring is their but thats all i see no horn nor wires around fender wells or core suport .....
i figured hook a meter up to the wires in the colum to hopefully find the horn wires .... put power to one side .. other wire to the horn .. sorta useing the stering wheel ring as a switch ..
what year lincoln did u use .. i assume u also used the lincoln pedel ???

You don't remove the center section to add rear end oil. There is a plug on the side of the center section, remove the plug and add rear end oil til it is just at the bottom of the plug opening.
The horn wires should be in the wire loom that goes to the headlights... Can't remember what color the wire is and my truck is at the other shop.
The pedal and cable was out of a '78 Mark V. Works great.
