computer communication to scanner
Cannot get a Snap-On Scanner to communicate with my
pickup 1993 f-150 4x4 5.0L.
Plus having bad fuel mileage .
Replaced most of the sensors,cats are fine
intake temp and coolant temp.
(no check engine light on)
250kms to 50 litres of fuel should be around 350 -400 kms
New motor, tranny,fuel pumps
have headache now and wife is whinning!

How is it not communicating? No codes, or no data? I've found sometimes it works to tell the scanner it's a year older or newer.
Is the check engine light on? Try manually flashing the codes and see if that works.
