Now im trying to decide what heads would work well with this engine as well as what cam. for the heads im considering edelbrock or afr, just not sure what size i really need.
Also trying to choose the proper camshaft, im considering comp cams new roller thumper cams, any of you tried them possibly or think it would work well? or have a better suggestion.
As far as intake i was gonna reuse my edelbrock performer rpm air gap intake if that will work okay?
And was gonna reuse my 770cfm holley street avenger carb if that is big enough for this motor?
Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. im rather new to doing a stroker build up, done plenty of regular build ups though.
okay im getting kind of confused why when testing this in a computer simulation does the motor make more torque and horsepower with a higher rpm intake like the victor?
The power horsepower and torque actualy just improved across the whole rpm range by using victor jr heads and intake, compared to performer rpm. and where talking a large jump. final numbers i came up with even though still trying different cames was max torque of 502 and max horsepower of 480. Still getting used to the program though but interestint results so far.
yeah thats the intake i have currently, what i cant figure out though is why if i switch from performer rpm heads and intake to victor jr, i gain more hp and torque across the whole rpm range and actualy gain in low end not lose, find that very odd. this is testing the combinations with a computer program
Im guessing its because of the motor being larger cubic inch?

that program dose not have a rpm intake for a 351 it only has it for 5.0 302 small block.
you would want to stay with that rpm you have or if you decide to use something else I'll buy that rpm if you want to sell it.
