Check engine light came back after changing EGR

Hey guys,

I put a new EGR on last night and unplugged the battery to reset the computer and this morning driving to work it came back. Any suggestions on what to check on next?

More info. Have you pulled the codes again yet? If your problem was definitely EGR related, the EVP's are very tempermental IME.

I concur. I replaced the EGR valve and then the light came back on. I checked the resistance on the EVP and it worked but not correctly so I replaced the EVP sensor and it is working great now.
