I believe i have a brake problem. When ive been driving around town, upper temps on everything, i get a creak sound everytime i put my foot on the brakes. It sounds exactly like when u step on a hardwood floor or stairs that arent planted firmly. Stopping and pedal action are exactly as usuall but i get the creak noise when everything is heated up???
Master cylinder?
Booster?
Pads?
Rotors?
Calipers and or slide pins for calipers?
Pedal assembly?
I havent done a brake job on my truck yet to see all the existing parts on a PSD but have read threads on the slide pin sticking and causing big problems if it s not greased. I will probably do the breaks to see if it cures the prob, what grease holds up well in wet Florida climated for this notorious pin?
Any guesses on the creaking noise???
Thanks Ben

I haven't heard that kind of sound before so I can't help there, but the caliper slide pins might be a good start especially after 94,000 miles and no brake service yet. You might want to service your needle bearings now too.
I think the brakes have been done once in the 94000 life, i havent had the truck that long. So at least i HOPE they have been done, everything else on the truck is in good working condition. Thanks for the guzzles info
Mine does it every summer when it is warm here. do not worry about it. it is where the brake pedal and linkage goes through the fire wall. it is the rubber grommet
