How big??

Will 305's fit on my 97 F150 4x4?? I was told they would but I would have to crank the torsion bars. I want to make sure.

A friend of mine has a set of tires for $400. They are 305's, goodyear wranglers and they still even have the blue dye on them. They look freaking good.

I really want them

I've heard you can run up to a 35" tire on the newer f-150's, this is hearsay since I haven't personally done it. On my ranger I can run 32" tires and 33" with the t-bars cranked, so it doesn't sound unreasonable. I do have 32's on my ranger with the t-bars cranked and know 33's would fit, just not on my stock rims like the 32's, so this is not hearsay, this I've done. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Well if thats accurate, then by cranking your torsion bars, the 305's should squeeze under there.

Goodyear Wrangler

I have a set of Goodyear Wrangler MT 285s on my 97 with no mods. Looks like ther may be a bit more room but 305s may rub under some conditions. I am planning a 4 inch lift B4 I get any bigger tires. I love the Goodyears.

Anything larger than 285/295's will rub both at a full turn and when bottomed out on a 4wd '97-'03 F150.
