4x4 "Clunk"
It seem to occur when the engine reved hi - while spinning. I have the original hubs and they are hard to turn - before going off road, i locked both hubs and reached underneth to spin the axle, making sure the hubs were locked.
Another piece that may be of benefit - I arrived at the location in 4x4 Hi, then switched to low for the pull and heard it lock in. After the pull, I shifted to 'N' and switched back to Hi; then started manipulating myself back out (mostly in 'R') when it happened again.
My first guess is a bad hub - if so that can easily be resolved with a set of Warn hubs.
But, I'm no mechanic so I look to the experience here for more advice.
