Guys, yesterday I tried to change the headlight bulbs in the X but being the handy guy I am, not only was this a pain in the *** but the EDGE of this thing tore my hands up.
So, my question is, can I cut this EDGE/corner down so I can get more room?
I just ONE bulb in and I frankly can't see much difference. My old bulb seems to shoot higher and of course, the light is more yellow.
The new bulb/light DOES look better so we'll see. It's not so blue that it irritates like some vehicles (that **** me off by the way) so I'm not being a hypocrite using lights that I don't want others to use but I dont' see that it's brigther.
I have the same exact lights in my head lights to. There halos, but not 170 watts. there like Low beam:80 and high beam:100. I dont know if i would use that high wattage of bulbs. I tryed to because i thought it would make things more brighter, but the people at summit racing said that it is bad for your wiring harness. The bluish tint looks good though! I use the same tint blue for my fogs, but there called matrix ultrawhites by Gr motorsports. They are 65 watts and they last along time compared to the halo ones and they don't hurt your harness.
