Smile Adding power windows/locks

I have a 90 F-250 I am using for parts for my 85, the 90 has PW and PL. If I just swap the doors from the 90 onto my 85, will the wiring plug right in? I plan on swapping out the interior panels and putting in the older style switches to keep the 80's style interior.

Not sure on that one. Of course you probably already know if you get enough of the wiring from the 90, you can probably make it work.

I keep reading how the 80's trucks are prewired for every available option, I was just curious if anyone knew if the plugs had changed. Worst case scenario is I take the plugs from the 90 and splice them into my 85 harness. Anyone know what color wires would be in the plug going to the PW/PL?

Just Check the wiring digrams on the autozone site.

If they are basically the same in the 14401 main harness then they are adaptable.
