homemade cold air
I read in the diesel forum that you can use a filter from napa to make your own cold air kit and was wondering what you do with the sensor that plugs into the side of the air box when you take it out,and what purpose it serves for the truck . Also interested in some cheap and easy mods anyone can lead me to. thanks 99 7.3 diesel 4x4 mainly stock 150000 miles

That is the intake Air temp sensor just zip tie it near the master cylinder.
