Cruise Control and door locks

Can anyone hel pme out with this. I have 2 issues.
1. Cruise control has not worked since 40k miles now at 140K. Never gave it to much thought. Now it is ringing in my ear. One day it went out and cannot figure out why. Not throwing any kind of code for it either. Any help
2. For soem reason the past weeks my dorr locks are not locking adn unlocking automatically with key pad or remote. Any idea why. Is it popssible all motors went at once?

Check to make sure the speed control recall was performed on your vehicle. Can't say why you're hearing ringing but there is risk of fire if the speed control is not repaired.

Have you checked your battery in the remote control? Maybe it is dead and you haven't needed the keypad until you realized the remote doesn't work? More info would help.

You have a better chance of winning the lotto several days in a row then all the motors going out at once unless there was some kinda insane power surge (which ive never heard of on a car).

Sounds like a loose wire (bad ground maybe?) or maybe a blown fuse?

Call a Ford dealer and provide your VIN. They can pull it up and see if the recal was performed. "Ringing in my ear"... lol Guess I didn't pay attention in metaphore class.

You can enter the VIN here and see if there are any pending recalls.

As far as the door locks not working...I've replaced my fuse twice after my kids played with the lock
