Ford Approved Modification????

Ford Approved Modification????
I stopped by a dealer today cuase a nice black 02 crew cab 4X4 Dually was on his lot, I could tell by the emblems it was a 7.3. I talked to the salesguy, he got the key and I popped the hood. in front of the drivers side battery, there was a sticker that said FORD APPROVED MODIFICATION, unfortunatley since the engine had been detaield(read: degreased,and anything that could be, painted black) I could not make out the identifier numbers for the mod... does anyone know what FOMOCO approved for mods on an '02 ????

I guess I should have mentioned that it had the original intake, It had the rectangular airbox and not the oblong AIS... Kris ,you may be right it may be a pcm reflash, If I get serious about this truck (#2 to the fleet) I'll ask the dealer to provide me an oasis to see whats been done( It is a Ford dealer)

That trip is pretty ruff if he went the back way through tuscaloosa might want to see if they'll let you check the "*****". If it is the dealer in P'ville they will deal with you pretty good if you get serious.
