Am I High ????

I think I've been breathing too many diesel fumes. My truck is running awsome out of nowhere (nevermind the major oil leak from my ped.) She seems to be running alot more quit since I disabled the wastegate and running lower egts. this morning I was on my way to work and I could'nt believe that I was actually hearing my tires and not engine while cruising around. I have 33's so at 61 on my speedometer Im really going 65, and at 65 I'm going 70, so I'm cruising at 65 on speedo (70 really) and I could not hear the engine just the tire noise(which wasnt even that loud. My egts were at 550* and 1900 rpm's WTF. I just recently did the ccv, 6.o IC, WW, wastgate pulled, and replaced my fuel filter on saturday, AM I HIGH OR DO THINGS JUST SETTLE IN OVER A PERIOD OF TIME. cANT wait to see what happens after this weekend (doin a new ped non-ebpv,new cover plate, and 1.0 exhaust housing)......THE BEST THING IS MY SSHPX WILL BE HERE TOMORROW CANT WAIT TO SEE HOW QUIETE NOW!!!!!!!!!!

It's nothing abnormal. Everyone with PMS either catches a waft of the diesel fumes as they are filling the tank, or bend over (Me jump up) and smell the exhaust at idle. I was pleasantly suprised to hear how quiet the engine was on my road trip. Aside from the turbo whistle, the engine was damn-near silent cruising 70mph, when the drone went away. Even at 85mph when my vibration went away, i could still not hear the engine, just a little tire howl. Mine is really quieted down.

your fuel filter probably made a noticable difference, to go with all the other mods.
