My New Truck

Hi everyone, I just picked up a 04 F150 FX4, one owner and only 5222 miles. It replaced a well used 1996 F250. I hope the new one will be as good to me as the old one was.

Very nice looking unit.
any plans for mudflaps and running boards.
That would protect and dress her up nicely.

Thanks, I was not sure what to expect when I went to pick it up site unseen. It is not to often you find a 4x4 stored winters, in a heated garage, in snow country. When he pulled it out of the garage I knew I had found a gem. The truck looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor, Still smells like a new truck inside.

As far as mods go, I will be ordering a leveling kit or a mild lift kit, a tuner of some sort and some running boards. I am leaning towards the Edge Evolution, I want to be able to monitor Trans temp while towing, setting alarms etc.

Funny, but the older generation knew how to make vehicles last a long, long time too. New terminology is mud GUARDS tho, not FLAPS! As they are now usually made rigid, they don't 'flap' anymore...hehehe
