Jeff,

I am going to move this to the 73-79 Forum. I believe you might have a better chance of finding someone that can help with your specific year in there.

Tell me the engine size (Grrrr) and I'll give you the part numbers for the radiator hoses.

Heater hoses: 5/8" C8AZ-18472-A /// and if applicable 3/4" : C8AZ-18472-B These are about 5' long with a moulded 90 degree end.

nitronigs,

The upper radiator hose is part # D8TZ 8260 B and the lower is D6PZ 8286 E both of the hoses are discontinued but if you give me a call @ 1-800-532-0819 I can give you phone numbers of dealerships that show the hoses in stock. I also found a few dealerships that still carried the C8AZ 18472 A heater hose but not the C8AZ 18472 B.

Doesn't the type or Rad and engine make a difference in the hoses ?

I didn't see those references mentioned

nitronigs,

The heater hoses were 5/8" and 3/4" and I'm not sure where or if you could find the original clamps. Try www.greensales.com they may be able to help you.

Kevin (fordpartsguy)....just try finding those squeeze type in any parts book. Maybe in the 50's, after that forget it.

Those squeeze type factory style clamps are crappola. They were never available from the parts counters, only on cars from the factory (cheap..to save a buck). They have a habit of eating through the hoses. Only the screw clamps were available from Ford parts depts. The early style screw clamps have a FoMoCo script on them and are highly prized by restorers.

B7A-8287-A .. 5/8" Heater Hose Clamp

B7A-8287-B .. 2 1/2" Hose Clamp

B7A-8287-C .. 1 3/4" Hose clamp
