I have a 2004 F250 with front leather caption chairs. Looking for a set of seat covers to protect my seats when working with my truck. I own a small excavating business and have to get in and out all day long, and I have noticed some small scratches in the leather form dirt and small stones on my clothes. Unfortunately for now it is my work and personal truck so I am looking to cover and protect while working.
Ive been looking for seat covers also and I have been doing bit of research and i think if your going to purchase them find a website that makes a custom neopreane one. This way you can wash them and the dirt, sweat and water won't hurt your leather.
Not what you typically think of for a "work" seat cover, but the costco sheepskins are working great on my truck, and there pretty inexpensive. Very comfy as well!
i got the trailgear ones from cabelas and love them. cheap yet very tough and durable. not soft like sheepskin but still very nice. they aren't custom fit, but they work very well with my capt chairs. i think they are around 30 bucks or less a piece and the gray matches my SD interior great, they also have tan and chamo.
pockets on the back to hold stuff and openings for the power seat/man seat controls.
they've been discussed before, if you search, you'll find even more examples of good seat covers for these trucks, all depends what you want to spend. i didn't need custom fitted ones, so these cabela ones have worked great. easy to put on and take back off to wash too.
I know Cabelas has at least1 if not 2 different manufacturers that make a complete set for front and rear Fia And Surefit? not to sure of the names but I know the tech department that you call to order will set you straight.
i know the bench seat covers from cabelas, the trailgear series, won't fit the rear bench of a crewcab. i'm still looking for a good cover for my rear seat that will match my front capt chair covers from cabelas.
I know they had something for front and rear regardless of style but they were the pricey$$ ones like $190 to $250 a set. Well that's what they told me at least
I use Grants sports seat covers on the front seats they are waterproof ,stain proof and washable and when you don'twant them on pop them offand roll it up on it self secure the velcro tabs and stash it in the door cubby. Cost about $25.00 Igot mine from Sumit.
