I just bought a 1978 F100 SWB, with a 302, C6, and air. I haven't picked it up yet, but I am really looking forward to it. There looks to be a great deal of info and helpers on here. This truck is just my knocking around truck, and will not be driven daily. It has a new Edelbrock carb, dual exhaust with Flowmasters, and the engine was rebuilt about 20k or so ago. It is maroon and silver, and is loaded up with chrome. IF I could figure out to add pics, I would gladly do so. Thanks!

Check the color of the fluid in the brake master cylender. If it's dirty looking or brown, you'll want to flush it out with new fluid and bleed all four corners.
Ford brakes are notorious for being slightly spongy ...You are better off inspecting them first.
If the brake fluid is black consider clearing out ALL the old stuff with new.
But check all the components first.
The Ford brake systems isa designed so the rears come on first then the fronts take over the major braking. so make sure the rears are adjusted correctly.
Jack,
First off welcome and congrats on your new truck
If you go to the top of the page and click on the 3rd tab from the left labled "galleries" then click manage/create it will take you to another page where you can upload your pictures. Im waiting to see the pics. Maroon and silver is a nice looking combo even if it isnt a factory color.
