Harley lights

Been considering getting the kit to upgrade my 02 to the 05 front end. Wonder how it would look with the harley lights and stay with the chrome grille or do they look best matched to the harley grille. My 02 is a deep red or maroon.

Find yourself the matching grill from the same color HD and it will look SWEET! I believe it's called Torador Red.

Pretty sure that Torador Red is my color. If one gets the harley grille from Ford it can just be painted to match correct? The cover above the bumper needs painted to match anyway.

That does look like a good combination in that picture. Has me thinking about just going with the harley lights and grille.

Yes... you could just get the chrome package grille too and have it sanded and painted to match... but for an extra 30 bucks you can just buy the harley grille. I think it is like 230 or so from www.powerstrokeshop.com Just email them your requests... It will look great with those Harley lights!

take care,
Steven

I was looking at the picture in the link at the top of this thread. Did the harley package come with a matched painted bumper over a chrome bumper?

If I did the upgrade I was leaning towards the harley lights and grille until I looked at that picture again and wondered how it would look with the harley grille and lights and a chrome bumper. I also thought about the painted harley grille getting chipped on the winter roads around here. Might be a good reason to stay with the chrome XLT grille. Have to think on it.

I put a HD grill on my 05 Lariat. I paid just at $300 for it. A True Blue bumper is not available, I guess one needs to paint the bumper. I plan to put on the HD headlights and True Blue door handles soon. I'll go outside and take a picture of the front end for your viewing pleasure. If you get the part number for the HD headlights, let me know.

I'll ask about those part numbers for the harley lights. Beening going back and forth on the kit from the vendor. The base kit is the 05-07 XLT chrome grille, bumper and headlights. Swapping in the harley lights added $114 to the kit. Waiting for the price to swap in the harley grille.

That is cheap..... compared to buying them later at 450 bucks. I would also add the extra 50 bucks or so to go to the Harley grille or the chrome package grille....

i'd like to just go with the harley lights and leave my stock chrome XLT grill on the truck. i've seen it done taht way and it looks awesome.
i don't want a painted grill. i never liked when the trucks had matching bumpers and everything all the same color as the truck. just easier to nick up and get scratched

If you do the whole front end... buy the kit from www.powerstrokeshop.com and I think it is like an extra 150 bucks for the lights... You just have to email them your requests. But by themselves they are about 450$$ If you have any questions about the conversion..just pm me...I would be happy to help.

good luck,
Steven
