Hello FTE members.
I have a 1997 E350 extended W/ 212,000 miles V10 o/d tranny.
I just installed all new tie rods and 4 ball joints + 2 new U-joints
replace 4 NEW tires and wheels.
My Van drives like NEW again.
I would like to install new shocks.
I have NO experience with shocks so I am here to ask the EXPERTS!!!
Looking for the best shocks I can get for under 300.00 for set of 4.
I use my van for a flooring buisiness and mostly for freeway and around town.
LMK if more info is needed for your opinion.
Thanks and have a great W/E

KYB MonoMax is a verry good shock for your van. Should cost under $300.00 for a set.
You need a good HD shock for a Ford van with twin I beam suspension. Dont go with a light duty shock. Monroe Reflex or Gas Magnums would also work good for you.
I have the heavy duty monroe gas and my e350 superduty rides very hard. I remember it riding softer and more comfortable before I switched to the monroe's when i still had the factory shocks in it. I don't know if there is anything that hits the middle road of heavy duty with ride comfort.
What about a softer shock up front and a heavier one in the rear? I travel with alot of weight, leaf springs are pretty flattened out, and pull a heavy trailer all the time. I could also add air bags in the rear to help out.
