New Shocks: Recommendations?

I have a 2009 F350 4x4 Crew Cab w/8' box with everything stock and am thinking about upgrading the shocks ... can anyone recommend a shock that might have a little stiffer feel than the stock shocks? Thanks.

My preference is Bilstein, but a lot of folks here like Ranchos.
My F150 has the 4600's and the F250 has the 5100 series.

my 350 has adjustable rancho 9000 xl's that can be stiff as a board or soft as a baby's bottom

good timing - they periodically go on sale and can save you a lot... like now if you hurry--> Rancho Suspension: Off Road Shock Absorbers & Off Road Suspension Systems

I went with Pro Comp ES9000's. Been pretty happy with them on my 05 F250.

My E250 van (a class B motorhome) has Bilsteins. They are MUCH stiffer than the worn out factory shocks they replaced. The ride is very solid, and with the load range 'E' tires, maybe some would call it harsh. But it is exactly what my top-heavy van needed to feel stable in cross winds on the highway. They have about 40,000 miles on them and still seem to be working like new.

I have been very happy with my Edelbrock Performer IAS shocks on my '06 F-350 diesel. They have 200,000 to 250,000 miles on them and seem to be working just fine. However, I just checked and found out Edelbrock has stopped making them.. too bad. Maybe they just lasted too long so people didn't buy enough of them.

I have run all of the Ranchos (5000, 7000, and 9000). I currently have the 9000s and am very happy with them.

Their customer service is great, which is more than I can say for Bilstein lately

If you don't have a dually and want A stiff ride try dually shocks, NAPA sold me the wrong shocks for my SWR truck and that was one stiff ride.

I've been running the same rancho 9000s on my truck for over 10 years now and they are still working fine. i adjust for three different scenarios: street, off road, and towing, it is a nice feature to have and is extremely effective
