Remember a picture i posted months ago of a Pileated Woodpecker eating my logs?
Two years later, the Son of Pecker has arrived and is finishing the logs off. Lots of big fat grub worms and ants in there. The Sparrows and Towhees follow behind it to get any leftovers.
Who's got Critterz? Pets, wildlife, rats, all the fauna on your own place. I love my critters even when I'm cursing them. They're always happy and ready to eat!

no I dont live in Idaho, I live in the outskirts of Newport, Wa...that lake would be Sacheen Lake...I am about 45 miles to Coeur D Alene Lake, 15 miles to Pend Orielle River, and about 25 to the lake of Pend Orielle,...but that is the small little lake I live on (300 acres, it gets smaller when you are out on it) Sacheen.
Flintergal came up with a great idea...a Chapter Mascot!
We have a logo, why not a mascot?
If you are interested in submitting a pic of your pet, please email at placermike@msn.com. Here are the rules:
- Pictures have to be submitted by WAFTE Members
- Deadline is 6 Nov 07
- No politicing...only a pic!
At that time, I will posts the unknown pics and create a poll that will be open for one week...After the week a winner will be declared.
The only guarenteed prize is the knowledge that you are the proud owner of the WAFTE Mascot, and all the kudos that go along with that. If they become famous, WAFTE will allow you certain royalties...You get to feed and house them...LOL
I hope everyone has fun with this
Mike
p.s. Your CL may have a winner specific gift for the winner!
