Anyone know if some of the 07 accessories will fit our 08's? Items like fender flares, floor mats, tonneau covers, bed liners, etc? I'm excited to get mine all fitted up. Thanks in advance for any help....
Actually, the rails don't quite fit. I had my 5th wheel hitch installed last Thursday and used Reese's custom mount and the installer had to drill anyway. There were holes that had to be drilled in the mount to go over rivets on the frame and one of the holes that was supposed to be in the frame to match up with the hole in the mount wasn't there, had to drill the frame. The front side of the mount (facing the cab) was OK, it was the rear (towards the bumper) that had the problems (if I remember the installer's statement correctly). This was even after talking to Reese to make sure that it was the right part number. At least I didn't put it in myself.
I put in the 16K (30047) hitch and used the 50049-58 frame mount and rails kit.
I had a professional shop install mine and I'm glad I did. It's an F-350, here are some pictures. I think that on the driver side is where you will have the issue. It's the shock mount rivets. I tried to get the lighting better so you could see the margins around the mount better. I also think that you will have to drill a hole in the frame, one on each side.
Passenger side frame mount.
Driver side frame mount, note hole drilled into mount on far right side to clear rear shock rivets.
Bed rails over LINE-X spray-in liner.
Hope this helps. These are also posted in my gallery.
I saw under bed rails in your original post and immediately thought of the frame mounts, not the under bed rails, just blew by the signature series part.
