I'm trying to decide between 255/70/15 or 275/60/15 will be mounting on 15x8 rims on two wheel drive. I like the BF radail ta's or uniroyal tigers. Help me out on what size I should pick.
I am running 255/70/15 Cooper Cobras on 10' rims on my 1974 F100. I bought them in 96 and still got tread left! I am considering Firestone Indy500 tires and mickey thompson classic 8' rims. What size should I go with on a narrower rim? I have manual steering and the wide rims are killing my arms trying to turn the wheel.

I'm running Yokohama Geolander AT+2, 33x12.50x15 on 8 inch rims on my 79F-150 4x4, could buy them for $55.00 apiece carry out price last year but they raised the prices on us this year, don't know what they cost now! I'm a Yokohama employee and we are allowed 3 sets of tires a year at discounted prices. I'm also running LT-265-75-16 Geolander HTS tires on my other truck and they were $65.00 apiece last year, but don't know what they are now. Any of you guys ever try any Yokohama tires and if so what did you think of them? If you didn't like them it won't hurt my feelings! Sammy.
