my '90 f250 4x4 has a BANKS sidewinder turbo and filter on it and I would like to change the airfilter to the NAPA 6637 the same as my '79 psd, has anyone done this mod? and are there any pre made pipes to go from the turbo to the intake?
yea i know but i thought they might offer a whole intake kit as well but they dont... just an air filter which ill be getting cuz im a believer in K&N filter performance...
i took the banks airbox off, and had it machined down till the only thing left was the plenum. then i ran 3 inch pipe to the front of the truck, and put a cone filter on it. i have not finished the ram air setup yet though.
eventually, i will finish the cold air intake and the filter will be in a box under the battery, with the air coming in via a ram air scoop from under the front bumper.

Hey TJC, is there any difference in performance from when you had the whole Banks airbox in place? I have an extra one I could modify if it worth it, Thanks!
