air filter change

my '90 f250 4x4 has a BANKS sidewinder turbo and filter on it and I would like to change the airfilter to the NAPA 6637 the same as my '79 psd, has anyone done this mod? and are there any pre made pipes to go from the turbo to the intake?

i took the banks airbox off, and had it machined down till the only thing left was the plenum. then i ran 3 inch pipe to the front of the truck, and put a cone filter on it. i have not finished the ram air setup yet though.

this is a front shot of the top of the engine.

this is the inlet hose

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e2.../inlethose.jpg

here is one of whats left of the airbox

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e2...rt/airbox2.jpg

another one of the plenum

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e2...rt/airbox1.jpg

here is the piping to the front

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e2...ort/turbo1.jpg

and one of the air filter.

eventually, i will finish the cold air intake and the filter will be in a box under the battery, with the air coming in via a ram air scoop from under the front bumper.

Hey TJC, is there any difference in performance from when you had the whole Banks airbox in place? I have an extra one I could modify if it worth it, Thanks!
